At New Horizon we believe that one way people become more dedicated followers of Jesus is by learning how to better serve others. We call this "being equipped" and it is the primary way that God grows churches (Ephesians 4:11-16).

We have a few members of our church moving away. We thought it would be nice to have a Carry-in Dinner for those who are leaving us.

Our communications director, Drew Etner, is looking for individuals that are interested in helping with our communications. This could be anything from folding bulletins or printing them to updating the church website or twitter/facebook accounts.

There will be an event held on August 14, 2010 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the West Pavilion in Center Lake Park.
